✧ Paradise is adorned for Ramadan from the beginning of the year to the next year. When the first day of Ramadan comes, a wind blows from beneath the Throne and causes the leaves of Paradise to rustle over the ḥūr al-ʿīn, and they say: “O Lord, appoint for us spouses from Your servants by whom our eyes will be delighted, and their eyes will be delighted by us.”
