✧ When the verse 'Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan' was revealed, Abu al-Dahdah said, 'O Messenger of Allah, does Allah want a loan from us?' He said, 'Yes, O Abu al-Dahdah.' He said, 'Show me your hand.' He said, 'So he extended his hand to him.' He said, 'I have lent my walled garden to my Lord.' His garden had six hundred palm trees. He came walking until he reached the garden, while Umm al-Dahdah and her family were inside. He called out, 'O Umm al-Dahdah.' She said, 'At your service.' He said, 'Leave, for I have lent it to my Lord.'
