Translation

✧ A man sneezed in the presence of the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: What should I say, O Messenger of God? He said: Say: 'Praise be to God.' The people said: What should we say to him, O Messenger of God? He said: Say: 'May God have mercy on you.' The man said: How should I respond to them, O Messenger of God? He said: Say: 'May God guide you and set your affairs aright.'
