حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ
كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ، تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ، وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ، غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ أَكَلَ

✧ When he wanted to sleep while in a state of major ritual impurity, he would perform ablution as for prayer; and when he wanted to eat, he would wash his hands then eat.
