حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ الْحَنَفِيُّ، عَنْ عِسْلِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Naṣr b. ʿAlī
  2. al-Ḥārith b. Murrah al-Ḥanafī
  3. ʿIsl b. Sufyān
  4. Ibn Abū Mulaykah
  5. ʿĀʾishah
  6. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ Whoever does not beautify his voice with the Quran is not of us.
