حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ وَلِيِّهَا، فَإِنْ نُكِحَتْ، فَنِكَاحُهَا بَاطِلٌ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَهَا، فَلَهَا مَهْرُهَا بِمَا أَصَابَ مِنْهَا، وَإِنِ اشْتَجَرُوا، فَالسُّلْطَانُ وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَا وَلِيَّ لَهُ

✧ A woman is not married except with the permission of her guardian. If she is married without that, her marriage is void. If he has consummated with her, she is entitled to her dowry for what he has taken from her, and if they dispute, the ruler is the guardian of one who has no guardian.
