حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْعُرْيَانِ الْحَارِثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَزْرَقُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ، قَالَ:

شَهِدْتُ عَلِيٍّا يَوْمَ قَتْلِ أَهْلِ النَّهَرَوَانِ قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ حِينَ قُتِلُوا: عَلَيَّ بِذِي الثُّدَيَّةِ - أَوِ: الْمُخْدَجِ - ذَكَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا لَا أَحْفَظُهُ، قَالَ: فَطَلَبُوهُ، فَإِذَا هُمْ بِحَبَشِيٍّ مِثْلِ الْبَعِيرِ، فِي مِنْكَبِهِ مِثْلُ ثَدْيِ الْمَرْأَةِ، عَلَيْهِ - قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: أُرَاهُ قَالَ - شَعَرٌ، فَلَوْ خَرَجَ رُوحُ إِنْسَانٍ مِنَ الْفَرَحِ لَخَرَجَ رُوحُ عَلِيٍّ يَوْمَئِذٍ، قَالَ: صَدَقَ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، مَنْ
