حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْأَجْلَحِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمْ، فَيَقُولُ: مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ ؟ فَيَقُولُ: اللهُ، فَيَقُولُ: مَنْ خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ ؟ فَيَقُولُ: اللهُ، فَيَقُولُ: مَنْ خَلَقَ اللهَ ؟ فَإِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ، فَلْيَقُلْ: آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَرُسُلِهِ

Translation

✧ Satan comes to one of you and says: ‘Who created the heavens?’ He says: ‘Allah.’ Then he says: ‘Who created the earth?’ He says: ‘Allah.’ Then he says: ‘Who created Allah?’ When that happens, let him say: ‘I believe in Allah and His messengers.’
