وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ
كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ أَفْرَغَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا، ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ، ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ فِي الْإِنَاءِ وَضْعًا، ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَهُمَا فَأَدْخَلَهُمَا فِي رَأْسِهِ، فَيَتَتَبَّعُ أُصُولَ الشَّعَرِ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَّ بَشَرَةَ شَعَرِهِ وَخُيِّلَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَنْقَى، أَفْرَغَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثَ حَثَيَاتٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ، ثُمَّ أَفْرَغَ مَا بَقِيَ عَلَى جَسَدِهِ
Translation

✧ When he wanted to perform ghusl from janābah, he poured water over his hands and washed them, then performed wuḍūʼ as for prayer, then placed his hands in the vessel once, then took them out and put them into his hair, tracing the roots of the hair until he had wetted the skin of his hair and it seemed to him that he had cleansed it, he poured three handfuls of water over his head, then poured what remained over his body.
