When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the ritual bath after sexual impurity, he would wash his hands and perform ablution as for prayer. Then he would run his fingers through his hair until, when he thought that he had wetted his skin, he would pour water over it three times. Then he would wash the rest of his body. And she said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I used to bathe from one vessel, scooping from it together."
