حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، وَحُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ
أَنَّ يَدَ سَارِقٍ لَمْ تُقْطَعْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا فِي ثَمَنِ حَجَفَةٍ أَوْ تُرْسٍ
Translation

✧ The hand of a thief was not cut off during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except for the price of a shield or a buckler.
