حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:

زَارَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ فَصَلَّى فِي بَيْتِهَا صَلَاةَ تَطَوُّعٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ، إِذَا صَلَّيْتِ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ، فَقُولِي: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَشْرًا، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ عَشْرًا، ثُمَّ سَلِي مَا شِئْتِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَقُولُ لَكِ: نَعَمْ، ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ visited Umm Sulaym and prayed a voluntary prayer in her house. He said: 'O Umm Sulaym, when you pray the obligatory prayer, say: "Glory be to God" ten times, and "God is most great" ten times. Then ask whatever you wish, for He will say to you: "Yes"—three times.'
