✧ The first thing God made obligatory upon people of their religion is prayer, and the last thing to remain is prayer, and the first thing they will be called to account for is prayer. God says: Look at My servant's prayer. If it is complete, it is recorded as complete. If it is found deficient, He says: Look, does he have voluntary prayers? If voluntary prayers are found for him, the obligatory prayer is completed from the voluntary prayers. Then He says: Look, is his zakat complete? If his zakat is found complete, it is recorded as complete. If it is deficient, He says: Look, does he have charity? If he has charity, his zakat is completed for him from the charity.
