✧ It was said: O Prophet of God, would that you go to Abd Allah b. Ubayy. The Prophet ﷺ went off and rode a donkey, and the Muslims went off walking, and it was salty ground. When the Prophet ﷺ came to him, he said: Away from me, for by God, the stench of your donkey has harmed me. A man of the Ansar said: By God, the donkey of the Messenger of God ﷺ has a better smell than you. A man of his people became angry on behalf of Abd Allah, and the companions of each of them became angry. So there was among them striking with palm branches, hands, and sandals. It reached us that this was revealed about them: And if two factions of the believers fight, make peace between them.
