✧ It was said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: If only you would go to Abd Allah b. Ubayy. So he went to him, riding his donkey, and a group of his companions went with him. When they reached him, Abd Allah b. Ubayy said: Move away, for the stench of your donkey has harmed me. A man among the Muslims said: By Allah, the donkey of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has a better smell than you. A man from his people became angry on behalf of Abd Allah, and one of them became angry on behalf of his own people, and there was striking with palm branches and sandals between them. It reached us that this verse was revealed about them: "If two parties of the believers fight, make peace between them."
