Translation

✧ I asked Anas b. Malik about the qunūt. He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ performed the qunūt for a month after the bowing. One day he had sent seventy men to a people among the polytheists. He said: And a people among the polytheists had a treaty between them and the Messenger of God ﷺ, and the polytheists with whom the Messenger of God ﷺ had a treaty killed them. So the Messenger of God ﷺ performed the qunūt for a month, supplicating against them.
