✧ That the Messenger of God ﷺ swore an oath to stay away from his wives for a month, and he was in an upper room of his. His foot became dislocated, and his companions came to visit him, and he prayed with them sitting while they were standing. Then they came for another prayer, and he sat and they stood, so he gestured to them to sit, and they prayed behind him while sitting. When twenty-nine nights had passed, he came down to them, and it was said: O Messenger of God, only twenty-nine nights have passed! He said: The month is twenty-nine.
