حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ، يَقُولُ:
خَرَجَ عَلِيٌّ، فَقَالَ: سَلُونِي، فَسَأَلَهُ ابْنُ الْكَوَّاءِ عَنْ بِنْتِ الْأَخِ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ: ذَكَرْتُ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: هِيَ ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ

✧ Ali came out and said: 'Ask me.' Ibn al-Kawwa' asked him about the daughter of a brother through breastfeeding. Ali said: 'I mentioned the daughter of Hamzah to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: She is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding.'
