حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَوْنٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ الْحَنَفِيَّ، يَقُولُ:
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْكَوَّى سَأَلَ عَلِيًّا ؓ عَنْ بِنْتِ الْأَخِ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ: ذَكَرْتُ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا بِنْتُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ

✧ I heard Ibn al-Kawwā' ask 'Ali ؓ about the daughter of a brother through suckling. 'Ali said, "I mentioned the daughter of Hamzah to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, 'She is the daughter of my brother through suckling.'"
