حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَتَبَ إِلَى الرُّومِ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّهُمْ لَا يَقْبَلُونَ كِتَابًا إِلَّا بِخَاتَمٍ، فَاتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ، كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِهِ فِي يَدِهِ، نَقْشُهُ: مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ wrote to the Romans, and it was said to him: They will not accept a letter unless it is sealed. So he took a ring of silver, and it is as if I am looking at its whiteness on his hand, with the inscription: Muhammad, Messenger of Allah.
