حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، وَثَابِتٍ، وَحُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
غَلَا السِّعْرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، سَعِّرْ لَنَا، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الْقَابِضُ، الْبَاسِطُ، الْمُسَعِّرُ، الرَّازِقُ، وَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى اللهَ وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ يَطْلُبُنِي بِمَظْلِمَةٍ فِي نَفْسٍ، وَلَا مَالٍ

✧ Prices became high in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so they said, 'O Messenger of Allah, fix prices for us.' He said, 'Allah is the One who withholds, extends, prices, and provides. I hope to meet Allah while none of you has a claim against me for a wrong concerning life or property.'
