حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ عَتَّابٍ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَحُمَيْدٍ وَثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
غَلَا السِّعْرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، غَلَا السِّعْرُ، فَلَوْ سَعَّرْتَ لَنَا ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى هُوَ الْخَالِقُ الرَّازِقُ الْمُسَعِّرُ
Translation

✧ Prices rose during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so they said: 'O Messenger of Allah, prices have risen, so if only you would fix prices for us?' He said: 'Indeed Allah, Blessed and Exalted, is the Creator, the Provider, the One who fixes prices.'
