Musnad Abi Ya'la 266

Translation

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me a month to fast after Ramadan." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If you are going to fast, then fast al-Muharram, for it is the month of Allah, and in it there is a day on which Allah accepted the repentance of a people, and on which He will accept the repentance of others."
