✧ Abu Talib fell ill, so the Prophet ﷺ came to visit him. At his head was a man's seat, so Abu Jahl stood and sat in it. They complained about him to Abu Talib and said, "He insults our gods." He said, "O son of my brother, what do you want from this?" He said, "O uncle, I only want from them a word by which the Arabs will submit to them, and by which the non-Arabs will pay the jizya to them." He said, "And what is it?" He said, "There is no god but Allah." He said, "Has he made the gods one God? Indeed, this is a strange thing."
