✧ While the Messenger of God ﷺ was in a house among the houses of his wives, he placed his head on the thigh of one of them and dozed off. He laughed in his sleep. After I saw him, some of the people of the house asked him: They said: O Messenger of God, what made you laugh? He said: I marveled at people of my community who ride this sea, despite the terror of the enemy, striving in the path. He mentioned to them a virtue that Muḥammad did not memorize. A woman who was there said: O Messenger of God, ask God to make me one of them. He prayed for her. Then a husband of hers took her out on a military expedition. While she was on the seacoast, riding on her mount, she fell and broke her thigh and died.
