وَبِهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا ثَارَتْ رِيحٌ اسْتَقْبَلَهَا، وَجَثَا عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا رِيَاحًا، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهَا رِيحًا، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا رَحْمَةً، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهَا عَذَابًا

Translation

✧ When the wind stirred, the Prophet ﷺ would face it, kneel on his knees, and say: 'O Allah, make it winds and not a wind. O Allah, make it a mercy and not a punishment.'
