حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَأَبُو جَعْفَرٍ خَالِي، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يَوْمَ الْمَرْجِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَقُولُ:
لَوْلَا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اللهَ يَمْنَعُ الدِّينَ بِنَصَارَى مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ عَلَى سَاحِلِ الْفُرَاتِ، مَا تَرَكْتُ عَرَبِيًّا إِلَّا قَتَلْتُهُ أَوْ يُسْلِمُ
