✧ When your brothers were struck at Uhud, God placed their souls in the crops of green birds that frequent the rivers of the Garden and eat from its fruits and shelter in golden lamps suspended in the shade of the Throne. When they found the goodness of their food, drink, and resting place, they said: 'Who will convey to our brothers about us that we are alive in the Garden, provided for, so that they do not hold back in war and do not renounce striving?' He said: Then God said: 'I will convey to them about you.' So God, blessed and exalted, sent down: 'And do not reckon those who were killed in God's way as dead; rather, they are alive with their Lord...' the verse.
