✧ There is no Muslim male or female who sleeps at night without a knotted rope being placed on his head. If he wakes and remembers Allah, one knot is undone. If he gets up, performs ablution, and prays, all his knots are undone, and he wakes in the morning energetic and having attained good. But if he sleeps without remembering Allah, he wakes with his knots heavy upon him.
