✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ stood among us one day on the minbar and said: While some people were traveling in the sea, the Jassasah met them. I said: What is the Jassasah? He said: A woman dragging the hair of her skin and her head. She said: In this palace is the news of what you want. So they went to it, and there was a man in chains. He said: Tell me, or ask me and I will tell you. The people were silent. He said: Tell me about the date palms of Baysan, the spring of Zughar, and Uman: has it borne fruit? They said: Yes. He said: Tell me about the marsh of Zughar: is there water in it? They said: Yes, it is full, and its sides overflow. He said: He said: He is the Messiah; the earth will be folded for him, and he will traverse it in forty, except what is of Taybah. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: That is Madinah; there is no gate of its gates but an angel with a drawn sword is standing, preventing him from entering it, and the like is in Makkah. Then he said: In the Persian Sea it is not; in the Roman Sea it is not. Three times. He said: Ibn Abi Salamah said: In this hadith there is something I did not memorize. He said: Jabir testified that it is Ibn Sayyad. I said: Ibn Sayyad has died. He said: Even if he died. I said: He has embraced Islam. He said: Even if he has embraced Islam. I said: He has entered Madinah. He said: Even if he has entered Madinah.
