حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«كَانَتْ شَيْبُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا سَرَّحَ لِحْيَتَهُ أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ ودَهَنَهَا لَمْ يَتَبَيَّنْ وَإِذَا تَرَكَهَا تَبَيَّنَ»
