✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to stand by a piece of wood, leaning on it to deliver the sermon every Friday, until a man from the Romans came to him and said: If you wish, I will make for you something such that when you sit on it, it will be as if you are standing. He said: Yes. He said: So he made for him the minbar. When he sat on it, the piece of wood moaned like a she-camel longing for her young, until the Prophet ﷺ came down and placed his hand on it. The next day I saw that it had been moved. We said: What is this? He said: The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and Umar came and moved it.
