✧ One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on the pulpit and said: "O people, I have not stood among you with news that came to me from heaven, but news reached me and I rejoiced at it, and I would like you to rejoice at your Prophet's joy. While a group of riders were traveling in the sea, their food ran out, and an island was raised up for them. They went out seeking bread, and the Jassasah met them. I said to Abu Salamah: 'What is the Jassasah?' He said: 'A woman dragging the hair of her skin and her head.' She said: 'In this palace there is news of what you seek.' They came to it and found a man in chains. He said: 'Tell me, or ask me, and I will tell you.' The people remained silent. He said: 'Tell me about the date palms of Baysan, do they bear fruit?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Tell me about the marsh of Zughar, is there water in it?' They said: 'Yes.' They said: 'He is the Dajjal. The earth will be folded for him in forty days, except for what is in Taybah.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Taybah is Madinah. There is no gate of its gates but an angel with a drawn sword is guarding it, and in Makkah it is the same.' Then he said: 'In the Persian Sea it is not; in the Roman Sea it is not,' three times. Then he struck his right palm on his left three times. Ibn Abi Salamah said to me: 'In this hadith there is something I did not memorize.' We said: 'What is it?' He said: 'Jabir testified that he is Ibn Sayyad.' I said: 'No, for Ibn Sayyad has died.' He said: 'Even if he died.' I said: 'He has accepted Islam.' He said: 'Even if he accepted Islam.' I said: 'He has entered Madinah.' He said: 'Even if he entered Madinah.'"
