حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يُوسُفَ الْجِيزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ إِذَا غُدِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِجَفْنَةٍ، وَرِيحَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِأُخْرَى ؟ قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّا يَوْمَئِذٍ لَبِخَيْرٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: بَلْ أَنْتُمُ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرٌ

✧ How will you be when a large bowl is brought to you in the morning and another in the evening? They said, 'O Messenger of God, on that day we will be in good.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'Rather, you are better today.'
