حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، مِثْلَهُ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

حَثَا لِي حَثْيَةً فَعَدَدْتُهَا، فَوَجَدْتُهَا خَمْسَمِائَةٍ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ: خُذْ مِثْلَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ

Translation

✧ He scooped for me a scoop, so I counted it and found it to be five hundred. He said, “Then he said, ‘Take twice its like.’”
