✧ A boy was born to a man among us, and he named him Muḥammad. His people said to him: "We will not let you name him with the name of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So he set off carrying his son on his back and brought him to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, a boy was born to me and I named him Muḥammad. My people said to me: 'We will not let you name him with the name of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'" He said: "Name yourselves with my name, but do not use my kunyah, for I am only Qāsim, distributing among you."
