حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ، قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يُقَبِّلُ الْحَجَرَ، وَيَقُولُ: إِنِّي لَأُقَبِّلُكَ وَإِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ حَجَرٌ لَا تَضُرُّ وَلَا تَنْفَعُ، وَلَكِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِكَ حَفِيًّا
