✧ We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ on a military expedition when a man from the Muhajirun struck a man from the Ansar on the back of his neck. The Ansari said, "O Ansar!" and the Muhajir said, "O Muhajirun!" The Messenger of God ﷺ heard that and said, "What is this call of the pre-Islamic era?" It was said, "O Messenger of God, a man from the Muhajirun struck a man from the Ansar." The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Leave it, for it is foul."
