حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ:
لَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَكَّةَ أُتِيَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ وَرَأْسُهُ وَلِحْيَتُهُ كَأَنَّهُمَا ثَغَامَةٌ، فَقَالَ: غَيِّرُوا الشَّيْبَ، وَاجْتَنِبُوا السَّوَادَ
Translation

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ came to Makkah, Abu Quhafah was brought to him with his head and beard white as the thaghamah plant. He said, "Change the gray hair, and avoid black."
