حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
أُتِيَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ، كَأَنَّ رَأْسَهُ ثَغَامَةٌ بَيْضَاءُ، فَقَالَ: غَيِّرُوهُ، وَجَنِّبُوهُ السَّوَادَ.

✧ Abu Quhafa was brought to the Messenger of God ﷺ on the Day of the Conquest, his head as if it were white senna blossoms. He said: Change it, and keep him away from black.
