حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ جَارِيَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ:
أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ، فَجَاءَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ مَنْزِلِي شَاسِعٌ، وَلِي كَلْبٌ، فَرَخَّصَ لَهُ أَيَّامًا، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ ordered the killing of dogs. Ibn Umm Maktūm came and said: “O Messenger of God, my dwelling is far and I have a dog.” He granted him a concession for some days, then ordered that it be killed.
