حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ وَعِدَّةٌ قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْجُوَيْرِيَةَ عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ:
بَايَعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَنَا وَأَبِي وَجَدِّي وَخَاصَمْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَأَفْلَجَنِي، وَخَطَبَ عَلَيَّ فَأَنْكَحَنِي. وَقَالَ مَعْنٌ: لَا تَحِلُّ غَنِيمَةٌ حَتَّى تُقْسَمَ عَلَى النَّاسِ جَفَّةً وَاحِدَةِ، فَإِذَا قُسِّمَ حَلَّ لِي أَنْ أُعْطِيَكَ

✧ I, my father, and my grandfather gave allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ. I brought a dispute before him and he ruled in my favor, and he sought a wife on my behalf and married me. Ma'n also said: Booty is not lawful until it is distributed to the people all at once in a single share; when it has been distributed, then it is lawful for me to give you some.
