✧ That his father died and left three hundred dirhams, dependents, and a debt. I wanted to spend it on his dependents, but the Prophet ﷺ said to me: 'Your father is detained by his debt, so pay it off on his behalf.' I said: 'May my father and mother be ransomed for you, O Messenger of God. I have paid off everything on his behalf except for a woman who claimed two dinars, and she has no proof.' He said: 'Give it to her, for she is truthful.' So I gave it to her.
