حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْوَرَّاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ، قَالَ:
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ بِمَكَّةَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ، أَوْ قَالَ لِي: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَخَفَّ النَّاسِ صَلَاةً وَأَدْوَمَهُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ

✧ I entered upon Abu Waqid al-Laythi in Makkah during the illness in which he died, and I heard him say, or he said to me: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the lightest of people in prayer and the most constant of it upon himself."
