✧ The Dajjal will emerge, and a man from the Muslims will head toward him. The outposts—the outposts of the Dajjal—will meet him. They will say to him: 'Where are you heading?' He will say: 'I am heading to this one who has emerged.' They will say to him: 'Do you not believe in our lord?' He said: He will say: 'I do not think—I believe—it is true (i.e., I do not think he is truly God).' He said: They will say: 'Kill him.' He said: Then some of them will say to others: 'Has not your lord forbidden you to kill anyone without his permission?' He said: So they will take him to the Dajjal. He said: When the believer sees him, he will say: 'O people, this is the Dajjal whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned.' He said: The Dajjal will order that he be stretched out. He said: He will say: 'Take him and stretch him out.' He said: So he will be stretched out. He said: His back and belly will be struck with blows. He said: He will say to him: 'Will you not believe in me?' He said: He will say: 'You are the lying Messiah.' He said: So he will order that he be sawn with a saw from the top of his head until he is split between his legs. He said: Then the Dajjal will walk between the two pieces. He said: Then he will say: 'Arise,' and he will stand upright. He said: He will say to him: 'Will you not believe in me?' He said: He will say to him: 'I have only increased in insight concerning you.' He said: Then he will say: 'O people, he will not do to anyone else what he has done to me.' He said: Then the Dajjal will take him to slaughter him, and what is between his chin and his collarbone will be made copper, so he will not be able to find a way to him. He said: So he will take him by his hands and feet and throw him, and the people will think that he threw him into the Fire, but he was only thrown into Paradise. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'This is the greatest of people in martyrdom before the Lord of the worlds.'
