وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" قَالَ مُوسَى: يَا رَبِّ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَذْكُرُكَ وَأَدْعُوكَ بِهِ قَالَ: قُلْ يَا مُوسَى: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، قَالَ: كُلُّ عِبَادِكَ يَقُولُ هَذَا. قَالَ: قُلْ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ. قَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، إِنَّمَا أُرِيدُ شَيْئًا تَخُصُّنِي بِهِ، قَالَ: يَا مُوسَى لَوْ أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعَ وَعَامِرَهُنَّ غَيْرِي، وَالْأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعَ، فِي كِفَّةٍ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فِي كِفَّةٍ، مَالَتْ بِهِنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

Translation

✧ Moses said: "O Lord, teach me something by which I remember You and call upon You." He said: "Say, O Moses: 'There is no god but Allah.'" He said: "All Your servants say this." He said: "Say: 'There is no god but Allah.'" He said: "There is no god but You; I want something that You single me out with." He said: "O Moses, if the seven heavens and their inhabitants other than Me, and the seven earths, were on one side of a scale, and 'There is no god but Allah' were on the other side, the latter would outweigh them."
