✧ A Nabataean from Syria arrived with thirty loads of barley and dates in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he set a price, meaning a mudd for a dirham, using the mudd of the Prophet ﷺ, and there was no other food among the people that day. The people complained to the Messenger of God ﷺ about the high price, so the Messenger of God ﷺ delivered a sermon and said: 'Indeed, I will meet God, Blessed and Exalted, before I give anyone anything from another's wealth without his willing consent.'
