✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to stand by a wooden stump, leaning on it, delivering the sermon every Friday, until a man from the people came to him and said: 'If you wish, I will make something for you that when you sit on it, it will be as if you are standing.' He said: 'Yes.' So he made the pulpit for him. When he sat on it, the stump yearned like a she-camel yearning for her young, until the Prophet ﷺ descended and placed his hand on it. Then the next day, I saw it had been moved. We said: 'What is this?' They said: 'The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and 'Umar came last night and moved it.'
