The Prophet ﷺ said: "Soon the nations will gather and call one another against you, just as diners do when calling one another toward their food." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Will it be because of our small number on that day?" He said, "No, rather you will be great in number that day, but you will be like foam, like the foam on the surface of floodwaters. But, Allah will remove the awe for you from the hearts of your enemies and will place wahn in your hearts." They asked, "What is this wahn, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "˹It is˺ the love of life and the hatred of death."
