Show the chain

What scholars said about it

In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.

  • Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr

machine translationThe narration of the people of Medina on this point is more firmly established and more numerous, and I think this ḥadīth of Hushaym is nothing but an error (wahm), because ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar is more reliable (athbat) than he.

machine translationAnd this chain is sound (ṣaḥīḥ).

  • Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī
